Self-hosted services
A closer look at what's running here. All of it is self-hosted on the infrastructure described in Architecture.
Nextcloud
Private cloud storage, file sync, and collaboration — a self-hosted alternative to commercial cloud storage. Files, calendars, and contacts stay under direct control rather than a third party's.
Passbolt
A team password manager for storing and sharing credentials securely, without relying on a hosted third-party vault.
Gitea
A self-hosted, lightweight Git hosting service with built-in CI/CD (Gitea Actions), used for this infrastructure's own source control and automated pipelines — including the documentation site you're reading now.
SearXNG
A privacy-respecting meta-search engine — aggregates results from other search engines without tracking queries or building a profile of the person searching.
Gramps Web
A web front-end for genealogical research and family tree data, built on the open-source Gramps genealogy software.
Uptime Kuma
Self-hosted uptime and availability monitoring for the services listed here, with status history and alerting.
Every service here runs as a container under the same Docker Swarm cluster, behind the same reverse proxy, described in Architecture — none of them are exposed directly to the internet by IP; each gets its own domain name and an automatically-issued TLS certificate.
